Why Taraka Exists

Taraka began with a simple frustration.

I couldn't find silver jewellery I actually wanted to wear.

The affordable options felt disposable. The premium options felt outdated. Most designs seemed stuck between being too traditional or too generic. And despite being one of the world's most beautiful metals, silver was still treated as secondary to gold.

So I started talking to people.

Friends. Students. Young professionals. People across cafés, campuses, and social spaces.

The pattern was impossible to ignore.

People wanted silver.

They just didn't like their options.

Taraka was born from that gap.

Inspired by the belief that silver deserves to be the star of everyday style, not an alternative to something else.
